Tuam qualify for Club All-Ireland

The Tuam Snooker team have reached the All Ireland Club Championships after some fantastic performances from the lads at the Connacht Qualifying Tournament which was held in Letterkenny recently. A vital win over current Connacht Champions, Ballina, in the final group match ensured their place in the All Ireland Finals. Defeat for Ballina means it will be the first time that the Mayo team have failed to reach the final stages in 15 years. The All Ireland Club Snooker Championship takes place at the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney, and runs from Jan 27-29.

Change to Galway League

A new idea has been added to the Galway League. All players who complete their matches, and do not qualify for the plate or better, will automatically be entered in a draw. The winner will receive a sum of money - we hope it to be around €50.
